Creative Cross Pollination Strikes Again on David Sedaris’s C.O.G.!

Writer/director Vu Pham is cast as “Dennis,” a factory manager in the first ever screen adaptation of a David Sedaris work and wrapped on October 18, 2012 (the same day “Sway” makes its goal on Kickstarter!). The film is written and directed by up and comer Kyle Patrick Alvarez who received some attention at the 2009 Independent Spirit Awards. Vu had the pleasure of working with Jonathan Groff, Corey Stoll, and Dale Dickey, as well as hearing the mad tales of filmmaking from producer Stephen Nemeth who, coincidentally, produced one of the more indelible cinematic experiences of his youth, Terry Gilliam’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The latest word is that C.O.G. will be in competition at Sundance in January 2013! Vu prays to all known gods that his image will be preserved in the final cut….
